An amount of Rs. 34.34 Lakhs was sanctioned through C.G.F. bythe Gevernment for construction of R.C.C. eart remaining wall on north and east sides of the temple. The work has to commenced and to be completed within 6 months.
Sri Govindaraja Swamy vari temple(Tatagudi) which was in a dilapidated condition since last several years was renovated and Vighraha Prathista was also made on 30-6-1980.
The Bhadrachalam is a unique feature, where the sanctity and sacredness of the place have been increased by the mixture of tradition and history. This is perhaps the solitary and unique instance of Muslim pantronage of a Hindu temple, which was continued till very recently under the Nizams rule. It is sanctified by its association with saint Ramadas and is a famous and sacred shrine of Andhra Pradesh well worth a visit.
