After the seizure of Golkonda Deccan faced disturbed conditions under Aurangzeb's empire, jafer begkham, who was a notorious invader, plundered the town of Bhadrachalam. The management of temple fell into disintrested hands. This was observed by Tumu Lakshmi Narasimha Das of Guntur and Bhadragiri Varada Ramadas of madras who visited Sri Rama Navami festival consecutively for years and made friends with each other. The twin bhaktas made up their minds to avert the deterioration and do their best to renovate the temple. One was born poet and scholar while the other was wealthy man and the Lord's celestial fire linked their lives to the feet of the Lord and they set to work in their capacities. It was believed that Tumu Lakshmi Narasimha Das was born with the amsa of Kabir and that Varada Ramadas was born with the amsa of Ramadas. Their efforts to renovate the temple were very soon crowned with success.

Chandulal,,the Chief Minister of hyderabad Pudusha had strange dream one night, when Lord Rama appeared in a vision and instructed him to give all help to two bhaktas who would be coming very shortly to him, in their efforts to improve the condition of the temple at Bhadrachalam.

The twin Bhaktas at Bhadrachalam were intutively direcetd by Lord Rama one morning when the two devotees were in a trance after Bhajan Sankirtan, that Sri Chandulal was waiting at Hyderabad to render all services to them. Thus the twin Bhaktas were lead to the Chief Minister Sri Chandulal and they received all monetary help for the establishment and maintenance of the temple. The twin Bhaktas devoted their precious time, energy and properties for the betterment of the temple. The usual Puja ceremonies were all once again arranged to be performed on systematic lines. Post Narasimha Das composed Kirtana and prayers which are very popular in Andhra Pradesh, and they are regulary chanted in the temple, both in the morning and in the evening.

Varada Ramadas placed all his wealth, which was in the form of ornaments and coins, at the feet of Lord. They left their mortal coils in a strange manner, one morning in 1833. After the morning Sankirtan in the temple, Varada Ramadas, absorbed in deep devotion left the mortal body and identified himself with Lord Rama. Narasimha Das who made terms previously to live with him in this world and in the other world, followed suit, and left the mortal coil and obtained salvation. The twin inseparable Bhaktas contributed their all in a crucial period, for the upkeep of the temple and to carryout the mission ordained by Lord Rama.

The temple which was so laboriously built by devotees like Ramadas and Varada Ramadas, was recently renovated by the temple authorities without dislocating the Mula Virat and it is one of the first temples in South india, with much art and great Sculpture.
