Amenities for the Pilgrims: In the beginning, there was only one choultry in the town, with inedequate facilities. Communications to this pilgrim centre were limited and meagre. But with the construction of road bridges at Bhadrachalam,Rajahmundry and other at Ravulapalem, this place is linked with several other important places like Thirupathi, Vijayawada, Hyderabad, Kakinada and Rajahmundry by R.T.C buses and pilgrims of today are relived of the drudgery of travel.
Several choultries are constructed by philanthrophic persons and institutions and it it is not difficult for visitors to this place to secure good accomdation. "Parnasala" and "Panchavati" are town tourist homes maintained by the district public relations officer, Khammam, for upper income group and lower income group respectively. The choultries maintained by the T.T.D and Kurnool Srinivasa rao. Trusts are spacious and well furnished. There are other choultries with all aminities and conveniences.
