The day begins with "Prabodhotsavam" or awakening ceremony at 5 a.m. with specially composed songs (of Tumu Marasimha Das), poems, sanai Trumpets Naubat etc.... Abhishekam will be performed at 7 a.m. to Lord Rama on sundays and all the remaining days Abhishekams will be performed at badruni Sunnithi on the same time. "Darbar Seva" is another novel feature followed in the temple. The daily accounts are submitted to the lord at 7-30p.m. everyday. All the account formalities are observed while presenting the accounts and the Lord is praised in Kirtans and songs by all the devotees assembled there and it is really a grand night to observe the Lord seated on his throne decorated on all sides. |

| The day comes to a close with Pavalimpu Seva at 9 p.m. when the deities are placed in a silver cradle on velvet cushions and lulled to sleep. There are several other ceremonies through out the day, creating opportunities for the pilgrims to give themselves in devotion to the Lord. |

| Two important festivals are celebrated at this pilgrim centre with great pomp and granduer. one is "VAIKUNTA EKADASI" which falls in the month of January and the other is "SRI RAMA NAVAMI" which falls in April. Thousands of Pilgrims from all parts of AndhraPradesh and even from Northern India attend these functions, with the belief that they attain salveation by a dip in the sacred river Godavari and fasting and Archana to Lord Rama in the temple. |
