  • An Industrial undertaking in which the investment in plant and machinery is upto Rs.100.00 lakhs is a Small Scale Industry.
  • The Government of India have announced the enhancement of Investment limit of certain SSI products from Rs.100 lakhs to Rs.500 lakhs in respect of Stationery & Pharmaceutical sectors vide their Lr.No.4(1)/2002 – SSI Board & Policy dt.1.6.2003.
  • The Government of India have also announced the enhancement of investment limit of certain SSI products from rs.100 lakhs to Rs.500 lakhs in respect of Hosiery / Handtools vide their Lr.No.4(1)/2000-1-SSI Board & Policy dt.9.10.2003.
