The Employment Exchange deals with educated applicants (SSC and above) and sponsor the candidates against the vacancies of Typist, Jr. Asst, Steno, Nurses, Teachers, para medical courses and drivers etc. The Kothagudem exchange deals with registration of ITI, Diploma courses, Polytechnic and sponsoring of technical vacancies. The sub employment exchange at Bhadrachalam deals with Scheduled Tribes candidates.

All the exchanges are computerized. All the activities are operated on computer only.
 
REGISTRATION

Unemployees of SSC and above education qualification are registered and identity cards issued.

RENEWAL

The identity cards are renewed once in three years on application in person or through post. Belated renewals are being considered within six months grace period.

SPONSORING CANDIDATES

Against every notified vacancy, candidates will be sponsored to the employer in the ratio of 1:20 strictly. As per seniority of registration, within 48 hours from the date of receipt of the notification.
 
PROGRAMMES & SCHEMES

VOCATIONAL GUIDANCE

Free career talks will be given to the SSC students, in High school level, in every month on the topic of “after SSC” and also career conference/Exhibition and Self employment promotion training programme are organized in educational institutions.

HANDICAPPED WELFARE

There is a special employment exchange for physically handicapped, candidates opened recently under “GELUPU” scheme introduced by the State Government. This unit for the palce of PHC candidates in Govt. and Private sectors.

EMPLOYMENT MARKET INFORMATION

Information related to number of establishments in Govt & Private sectors and number of persons employed is collected once in three months. Details of occupation and educational qualification are collected once in two years.

UDBHAVAM

It is a scheme to make spot submission to private sector employers.

KEERTHI

It is a scheme to adopt one Govt. High School/Govt. Jr. College in rural areas and to provide comprehensive career guidance to students.

VIJAYADEEKSHA

It is a scheme to train youth for competitive examinations for posts of public services.

UJWALA

It is a scheme to provide self employment assistance to skilled youth through I.T.Is. (Use of machinery and Banks for working loan capital only)

UDYOGAM

Scheme to coordinate with recruitment authorities of military and para-military forces for filling up posts under A.P. Quota.

ADRUSTAM

It is a Scheme to train youth of SC/ST backlog vacancies.nt
