needs of the farmers through (206) Primary Agril. Coop. Societies by providing
short term, medium term, and long term Loans.

| SCHEMES/PROGRAMMES: |
Interest
Incentive Scheme:- The Government of Andhra Pradesh have formulated
a progressive and a relief measure to the farmers who repay the loans in
time. Under this scheme the farmers will be given 5% rebate so that the
actual lending rate will come down to just 10% only which is far less than
other commercial banks.

O.T.S
Scheme:- This is a unique scheme
formulated by the APCOB so as to provide relief to the farmers who
have been suffering
from high burden
of debt and who are unable to come out of “ Debt trap”. The
farmers who could not pay the loans taken from PAC Societies and stood
defaulter as on 31.3.1998 are eligible to come under this scheme. |
