KOTI VARALU

Under Kotivaralu scheme the following targets are communicated pertaining to Civil Supplies Department. The present status is as follows:

Issue of new ration cards Under item distribution of 10,00,000 new white ration cards, about 2.40 lakhs of applications received during the 19th round Janmabhoomi Programme is being got enquired by the Mandal Revenue Officers. The Commissioner of Civil Supplies, AP Hyderabad issued instructions to correlate the data of MPHS/VELUGU BPL survey and computerization of Key Registers etc., for issue of new ration cards. Deepam connections Under item 10,00,000 Deepam connections a target of 33,094 is fixed to the district for completion during 2003-04 and 2004-05. At present the earlier backlog connections under Deep fixed during 18th and 19th round of JB is yet to be completed after completion of the said backlog action will be taken to ground the targets fixed under KOTIVARALU Pathakam. Instructions were already issued to identify the beneficiaries under Deepam scheme by Municipal Commissioners/Project Director, DRDA/VELUGU, Khammam.

The phase wise allotment of Food for work rice are furnished below:

Phase-I 15100 Mts. Phase-II 9270 Mts. Phase-III 24370 Mts. Phase-IV 19820 Mts. Phase-V 10000 Mts. Total 78560 Mts.
